Volunteer of the Month: A child gives back

This month it makes us tremendously proud to acknowledge and recognize Abdul Faheem Pasha as the "Volunteer of the Month" for a very special reason. He is one of the graduates of the Dream Life Skills Program and today is giving back what he has learnt to other kids like him.

This month it makes us tremendously proud to acknowledge and recognize Abdul Faheem Pasha as the "Volunteer of the Month" for a very special reason. He is one of the graduates of the Dream Life Skills Program and today is giving back what he has learnt to other kids like him. For us, this has been a true journey of success. 17 year old Faheem is a student of Excellent English School, currently studying in class 11 (1^st PUC – Commerce) and attending our DreamConnect Program. Having some free time after college and on weekends, he decided to use his free time volunteering with Dream A Dream. According to Faheem, since I attend evening college, I have a lot of time during the day. I chose to teach computers to the children. This computer knowledge will help them become successful in life. It is satisfying”. He further adds, “Volunteering has helped me gain confidence in talking to people. Otherwise I used to be shy”. Faheem aspires to become a chartered accountant but even more important to him is to be “a good human being – be a helpful member to my family and community”. we are proud of Faheem and wish him all the very best with his aspirations.
