Special Feature : Fidelity Cares for Dream A Dream

The journey of our dreams continues because of the tremendous and undying support and help from  many Corporate Partners & Volunteers. Holding our hand over these many years are stable and stanch believers. This month we feature one such believer - CSR  arm of Fidelity Investments.

Dream A Dream engagement with Fidelity Cares started in 2009 by building the capacity of Fidelity's NGO partners to build a volunteer engagement model and also establish systems within Fidelity to enable employee volunteering. The result of the engagement was upscaling the whole volunteer base from 5 volunteers in 2007 to 450 volunteers in 2010. Building a sensitive and aware community is the corner stone for the partnership of Dream A Dream and Fidelity Cares, the CSR arm of Fidelity Investments. We would like to acknowledge Fidelity's interaction with our children.

• Engagement of Fidelity  leadership team along with children by sharing their life experiences.
• Donations of desktops to establish computer learning centers.

Our partnership has resulted into a win:win for all the stakeholders - children, partner NGOs, Dream A Dream and Fidelity.

Volunteers from Fidelity are most excited  and Alpha Mukhopadyay has the following to say. “Working on the induction module for Dream A Dream has been very interesting for our team. Through this project we have learnt about presentation skills and have enhanced our knowledge on some of the applications. Through Ritu's continuous guidance we have learnt many things. It gave us a chance to do some creative work apart from the regular work. Overall, it has been a good learning experience for us and we were happy to volunteer for Dream A Dream.
