Annual Dream Celebration

Dream A Dream hosted its 11th Annual Stakeholder Meeting – The Dream Celebration on 28th August 2010. It saw the coming together of all our key stakeholders – Partner NGOs, Volunteers, Donors, Well-wishers and Supporters. We shared the highlights of year gone by and presented plans for the coming year.

Dream A Dream hosted its 11th Annual Stakeholder Meeting – The Dream Celebration on 28th August 2010. It saw the coming together of all our key stakeholders – Partner NGOs, Volunteers, Donors, Well-wishers and Supporters. We shared the highlights of year gone by and presented plans for the coming year. We took the opportunity to acknowledge support received by the organization from all and renew our commitment to work together in future. The highlight of the afternoon was a poignant and very touching experience sharing by Ms. Benazir, Managing Trustee of the Raza Educational Trust, a Dream A Dream partner. Benazir floored the audience with her very personal experience of the transformations she has seen with the children in her school after they started participating in the Dream Life Skills Development Programs. This was followed by a very moving talk by Prasanna, a 18-year old from one of our other partners, Ananya Trust who shared how he learnt “Not to give up in life” at the Dream Hockey Program and the tremendous influence his coach has had on his life. His coach, who was amongst the audience was a proud man that afternoon. For all of us at Dream A Dream, It was a humbling experience to see over 200 people turn up to make this a very memorable day and help us renew our commitment to empowering lives of children in this country.
