Stories of Change: Prasanna – Our dreamer in making!

18-year-old Prasanna joined the Dream Sport Program in 2004 when he was in school at Ananya Trust.
 

Prasanna had always been ambitious but faced with extremely challenging growing up years, Prasanna was not even sure he would be able to complete his high school. However, his determination was unwavering and the support he received from his school and mentors was key to ensure he never gave up. We are extremely proud to announce that this month Prasanna cleared his Pre-University  examinations and is now all set to enter under-graduate college next academic year. According to Prasanna," I worked hard to pass this exam. I used to get up at 5 o clock and studying then coming to office to work also. I had my personal issues thus I was having lot of burden in my head and I thought I can't concentrate on my studies but I can't leave my goal so I worked a lot to pass these exams thus when I come to know that I pass these exam I was very happy in my life I never been happy that much the day which 20.12.2010 I will never forget it! Vishal uncle were giving very good ideas to solve my burden and Dream A Dream gave flexibility, which they gave time for studying and working. According to Vishal Talreja, “Prasanna is a story of grit, determination and hardwork. When he joined Dream A Dream as a field coordinator nearly six months back, I was concerned about how we will manage his personal challenges, studies and work and he breezed through it all. He never wasted a free minute when he was in office. One could see him reading his text books, practicing his answers and seeking support from team members where required. Inspite of all this stress, he didn’t let it affect his work and always had a smile on his face. It is indeed a proud moment for me to see Prasanna transform in all these years and become the confident, sensitive, driven young man that he is today.” We at Dream A Dream wish Prasanna all success in life for he is our inspiration.
