Volunteer of the Month - Divij Mehra

Divij joined Dream A Dream this May to volunteer during his summer vacation. He is a 16 year old student currently studying at The International School, Bangalore. He has been a active volunteer in the Dream Football Program, Dream Fundays and a support facilitator in the English and IT modules of Dream Connect. When asked about his volunteering experience with Dream A Dream, this is what he had to say “I’ve always loved working with children and the work that Dream A Dream does towards making a change should be an inspiration to all. This whole experience over the past 2 months has been a lot of fun and has made a difference to my life as well. Volunteering with Dream A Dream and working with these children has shown me that material possessions aren’t everything. The smiles on the children’s faces tell us a whole story. It has also taught me that we can’t afford to take anything for granted. I think just the fact that what I and the whole organization is doing could actually help change a person’s life keeps me going.” Divij continues to support us and is an active volunteer in the Dream Football Program. We wish Divij all the very best and hope that he has many more volunteering experiences with Dream A Dream.
