Program Executive/Anchor – DreamConnect Program
Profile Overview: The role involves working closely with the community to engage young people and their families in various programs at DreamConnect. The focus is on sourcing, recruitment, engagement and retention of young people. In addition, to support various other programs and functions with the DreamConnect Program.
Designation:Program Executive/Anchor – DreamConnect Program
Reporting to:Manager – DreamConnect Program
Job Responsibilities:
- Community Outreach: Reach out to young adults and their families from vulnerable communities to present the various programs to them.
- Recruit young people between the ages of 14-18 years to various DreamConnect programs.
- Retention: Follow-up with young adults registered for various programs through regular contact, home visits and ensure they complete the courses and are retained in the program
- Feedback: Collect feedback from young adults to support quality delivery of programs and ensure our services remain relevant.
- Career Talks: Support with organizing, hosting and conducting relevant Career Talks for young adults from target communities.
- Facilitator: Support with facilitation of sessions for young adults as and when required.
- Mentoring: Support with recruitment and selection of mentees. Support in collecting feedback from Mentees in the program
Team Role:
- Attend team meetings and training programs.
- Understand the strategic goals of the organisation and understand your role in working towards achieving them
- Complete additional tasks set by your Line Manager
- Ensure a professional attitude and approach to your work at all times
- Coordinate with the relevant program anchor to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of your programs with regards to volunteer involvement, finances and child availability.
- Give inputs to the team in improving the implementation of the program.

Program Facilitator - DreamConnect Program
Profile Overview: Bangalore based NGO Dream A Dream empowers children from vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills designed for successful transition into adulthood. Dream A Dream launched a new program in 2010, to empower 10th standard graduates / drop-outs aged 15+ by offering the tools and foundational life skills necessary for career development. Some of the modules offered are spoken and written English, basic computers and workplace readiness (personality development). As a facilitator this program challenges you to be a social change agent and at the same time lets you experience a dynamic, professional and highly challenging environment.
Designation: Program Facilitator – DreamConnect
Reporting to:Manager – DreamConnect
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the curriculum by conducting sessions in English, Computers and Work Place Readiness (we may include more modules in future)
- Coordinate with volunteers who facilitate sessions by guiding them
- Maintain a database for the participation record of children in the programme (attendance records)
- Maintain a profile of all the children in the programme and update their progress at regular intervals
- Ensure all life skill assessment data is collected and recorded for the program and participate in the analysis of the data
- Maintain a log of all cancelled sessions, or volunteer absences and reasons for such.
- Assist with quarterly reports in a timely manner, keeping within deadlines set
- Actively collect stories of impact and change from children and volunteers
- Arrange logistical efforts related to the program including organizing materials if needed and ensuring photographs are taken.

Anchor – Administration / HR / IT
Profile Overview: The primary role is around managing office adminsitration, infrastructure and asset managements, IT management and support the HR function primarily around recruitment and employee details.
Desgination: Anchor - Administration / HR / IT
Reporting to: Head - Strategy & Operations
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Administration
- Office Management: In charge of all office administration activities – Office cleaning, Electricals, Stationary, Telephone, Internet, UPS, Physical Infrastructure, recording, filing, General repairs and maintenance.
- Vendor management: Interacting and maintaining relationships with all existing vendors that provide services to Dream A Dream and identifying new, efficient and cost effective vendors for the organization.
- Asset Management: Ensuring the safety and security of all assets such as computers, desks, cupboards, etc. at the office and covering under insurance.
- In-kind donations management: Ensuring that all in kind donations received by Dream A Dream such as clothes, toys, books, materials, etc are recorded, maintained, utilized and redistributed as per need.
- In charge of travel, bookings, accommodation, etc. for employees traveling for official purposes like training, programs, fund raising, etc.
- In charge of maintenance, upkeep and supervision of official transport.
- Maintaining inventory of merchandise at all times and introducing new products into the merchandise
- Back-end support to Fund-raising.
- Preparing of admin budget, goals and necessary in-kind proposals,
- Ensuring all statutory payments is done timely.
- Support finance manager in all bank related works such as salary transfer, EPF &
- Locating, negotiating and finalizing bookings for Training / Meetings/retreats/camps/events etc.
- Responsible in renewal of AMCs/contract/agreements etc
IT
- IT-Responsible for smooth functioning of IT including server, desktops, laptops, network connectivity, ups etc.
- Ensuring all office software is up-to-date.
- Support in managing various applications used for managing volunteer/ donor/children data.
HR
- Maintain a resume database for candidates, execute screening and selection process
- Joining formalities such as issuing of offer letter, collecting documents, assisting in filling the EPF forms etc
- Maintaining HR related documents and files of staffs
- Induction for new employees, exit interviews, final settlement
- Organizational initiatives like workshops, employee engagement, best practices implementation, rewards, schemes etc

Fundraising & Communications Manager
Profile Overview: The Fundraising and Communications Manager is responsible for strategizing, designing and implementing all elements of Dream A Dream’s fundraising and communications function in order to meet its resource mobilization needs in the short-term and long-term.

Reporting to: Executive Director
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Fundraising Management:
- Creating and executing a sustainable overall fundraising strategy year-on-year.
- Designing, planning and executing effective/innovative fundraising strategies that are low investment and high returns.
- Devising and executing audience specific campaigns for Institutional Funders, Corporates, Individual Donors, Volunteers and Events.
- Conceptualize and draft appropriate campaign materials and funder proposals.
- Creating means of appropriate volunteer engagement with implementation of fundraising activities.
- Devising and helping implement “Cause Related Marketing Strategies” with companies from diverse sectors.
- Acting as a representative of Dream A Dream and networking with prospective funders, corporate partners and donors.
- Providing oversight and support to Event Coordinator in planning and executing strategies and logistics for Dream A Dream fundraising events Providing oversight and support to Fundraising Assistant in maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records.
- All other works that are incidental to the successful execution of fundraising.
Communications
- Establish a strong brand presence of Dream A Dream amongst all its key external stakeholders.
- Create and implement a Media / PR Strategy for Dream A Dream year-on-year.
- Build and maintain relationships with media personnel across various media platforms.
- Maintain and enhance all external communications media such as the monthly e-newsletters, website, videos, brochures, organizational profiles and program proposals etc, ensuring effective and standardized communication of mission and activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on communication audiences.
- All other works that are incidental to the success of a good external communication system
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate and supervise the Fundraising Team (including volunteers) in execution of activities.
- Provide opportunities for training and fundraising/communications skill development.
- Conduct relevant site-visits, learning events, workshops and discussions for the team to help understand resource mobilization, international developments, etc.
- Support the development of a “culture of fundraising” within the broader staff team and Dream A Dream community.
- Impact Assessment and Information Management
- Monitoring, review, evaluation, assessment and impact measurement of all fundraising and communications strategies, campaigns and activities.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate tracking systems for management of donor relationships, grants development and events Maintain up-to-date and accurate contact databases for all contacts including donors, funders, corporates, media etc.
- Produce relevant reports (both data and explanatory) to provide timely information on progress towards fundraising goals and to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns/activities and suggest areas of improvement Produce regular and timely reports.
Organizational Development
- Through effective fundraising and relationship management, support the achievement of strategic goals set by the organization Participate in strategic planning, annual planning and budgeting process for the organization.
- Being a small team, you would also be required to multi-task between roles as and when required by the organization for the furtherance of its goals.
