Our Children

          Dream A Dream provides children from vulnerable backgrounds with non-traditional educational opportunities designed to allow them to explore, innovate and build important life skills. Vulnerable backgrounds are environments that are unprotected and lac k opportunities for learning.

      Children at Dream A Dream come from extremely challenging and difficult circumstances. These include.

•  Children of migrant families.

•  Children of daily wage labourers.

•  Children living in urban slum communities.

•  Children who are orphaned, abandoned or runaway from home.

          The children we impact come from our different partner NGOs in Bangalore, India. Dream A Dream lays a strong emphasis on academic education and only those children that are participating in any kind of formal and informal educational program are eligible to attend our programs. However, children do face challenges with attending school due to their living environments, lack of support systems and positive role-models and due to pressures to earn and support the family.
