Special Feature : Dream A Dream’s Dream Creative Arts Program

Partnering with Dream Creative Arts Program: Mr. Sebastian Plackal, Field Coordinator, Center for Social Action and Asha Advani, Chairperson, Each one teach One, share the important role Dream A Dream’s Creative Arts Program pays in developing life skills among children in their schools.

“As an integral part of CSA programmes we have Dream A Dream activities like creative arts. We do notice a lot of changes in children’s interpersonal interaction and it motivates us to facilitate more children in to this program. The kids were naughty and distracted before they were inducted in the Dream Creative Arts Program but when I observe the sessions now I am surprised to see children pay attention to what the facilitator is saying and concentrate on the activity given with full enthusiasm. Before they used to come to me asking for leaving the class early. Now they are very excited to attend the sessions and be part of it. They do not want to be distracted for anything now.”

“This is the 3rd year EOTO is associated with Dream a Dream and hopefully will continue doing the programme in future. Children at Guru Hari Krishan School are very happy to have this programme; Life Skills through Creative Arts is a very good and effective concept. Facilitators and Volunteers of Dream A Dream make Creative Arts very interesting and the students are very responsive”.
